About Me!

As you may have figured out from the title of the blog, my name is Mallory and I like to read.
But this page is here to give you a little more information about myself.
I am 21 years old. A winter baby, born in the cold month of December. I grew up in Prince Edward Island. I lived there for 16 years of my life until making the big move to Alberta. It was quite a change, but I don't think I could go back to country living anytime soon.
After graduating high school, I decided to take a few years off. This is where my reading story comes in. Basically, I just sat around all day doing nothing, and I decided to start reading to pass the time. I have always read my whole life, but nowhere near as avidly as I do now.
So finally a few years after graduating, I decided to go to hair school. For nine whole months I had to put up with 50 other girls (and if you know girls, you know how much drama that can be). But I made it through and graduated. I am currently working in a salon and building an amazing clientele. There is no better feeling than making someone feel super hot.
I have been happily in a relationship for over two years now with my wonderful boyfriend Adam, who makes me feel like a princess. Although I am trying to convince him to expand our family, because I want nothing more than a DOG. Haha, no babies for me right now.
I spend probably about 90% of my free time reading, but some of my other favorite things to do while I'm not reading include booktubing, snuggling, sleeping and eating. I honestly don't go out much, but that's okay with me.
I'm also going to make a list of things that I really really enjoy.

• Lists. I absolutely love writings list. I make lists out of everything.
• Tea. I buy and drink so much tea. Green tea being my favorite, followed closely by a steeped tea double double from Tim Horton's.
• Crosswords. I do these every single morning when I get to work.
• Candles. I am obsessed with buying and burning candles.
• Pens. I collect pens.
• As well as notebooks. But I never use them. Which is really hard for me to explain, but I need to have that feeling of perfection inside my notebooks....I'm weird.
• Hand writing. I love just writing things out and having neat hand writing. People usually compliment me on it.
• Looking at maps. I don't know what it is about it. I'm not very good at geography, but I love looking at maps and deciding where in the world I would like to visit. 

Also going along with the map thing above: my top three places I want to visit right now are:

• Russia. I am obsessed and I'm not sure why.
• Iceland. I have always wanted to go here.
• Norway. I don't know anything about Norway, but I wanna go.
